Day 4 – Excursion to Kirinda, Situlpawwa and Tissamaharama

After enjoying a delightful breakfast at the Dune Camp in Yala, you will have the opportunity to explore the fascinating and rich archaeological heritage sites that adorn the southern coast. Three notable destinations that deserve your attention are Kirinda, Situlpawwa, and Tissamaharama

Kirinda is a captivating coastal town located in the Hambantota District of Sri Lanka. It is renowned for its historical significance and natural beauty. As you explore this sacred site, you will be surrounded by a serene atmosphere and mesmerizing ocean views.

Situlpawwa, another remarkable archaeological site, is situated near Yala National Park. This ancient monastic complex is believed to have been a renowned meditation center for Buddhist monks during ancient times.
