Sri Lanka Adventure Tour:
6 Nights & 7 Days

Day 1 - Arrival

Upon arrival at Bandaranayke International Airport, you will meet our chauffeur guide who will transfer you to Jungle Hideaway Eco Lodge in Pidurangala for a 2-night and 3-day stay. The travel time to the lodge is approximately 4 hours. You will enjoy dinner and an overnight stay at the lodge.

Day 2 - Excursion to Pidurangala/Sigiriya

After breakfast at the hotel, you can experience a bicycle trip to several exceptional archaeological sites. You'll explore Kaludiyapokuna, the ruins of an ancient Buddhist vihara buried in the jungle. Additionally, you'll explore highly varied landscapes, starting from the Sigiriya Moat and continuing across villages, farmlands, irrigation canals, forests, irrigation tanks, and lovely forest lakes. In the evening, you can enjoy a scenic boat ride on the lakes, where you'll experience the Sigiriya landscape and fully appreciate the breathtaking natural beauty of the ancient land. This excursion is perfect for birders, wildlife and nature lovers who want to enjoy the tranquil surroundings of giant Kumbuk trees, tropical forest, and beautiful lily fields teeming with water birds, raptors, and small mammals.

Day 3 – Excursion to Arangala 

After breakfast at the hotel, we will depart for Arangala, where we will stay for 2 nights and 3 days at the Arangala Forest Lodge, an eco-friendly upscale hotel located in the Matale District and facing the breathtaking Knuckles Mountains. During your stay, you can enjoy a comfortable living experience in luxurious cabanas surrounded by nature. 

Day 4 – Excursion to Arangala

After breakfast at the hotel, we will arrange a 4.3km hike to Arangala Mountain. Arangala Mountain is one of the most breathtaking hiking areas situated in Naula, in the middle of the Matale District. Hiking can make you feel more energetic, relaxed, and give you peace of mind as you climb and enjoy the beautiful views of nature. The starting point of the hike is from the hotel, and you'll have the opportunity to see a lovely waterfall along the way

Day 5 – Excursion to Kandy 

After breakfast at the Arangala Forest Loge, we will depart to Kandy where we will stay for 2 nights and 3 days at Polwaththa Eco Lodge. It is an ideal place for nature lovers whose expectations of "luxury" lie more outside the room than inside. Polwaththa Eco Lodge is a sustainable retreat located in the heart of Sri Lanka's countryside. It offers unique eco-friendly accommodations and outdoor activities in a serene natural environment. Guests can participate in a range of eco-friendly activities, including hikes, organic farming, and community tourism, promoting responsible travel practices.

Day 6 – Excursion to Tea Factory 

After breakfast at the hotel, you will have the opportunity to experience village walks through quaint villages with their Kandyan Forest Gardens, where the villagers go about their daily chores at their own pace. You will be invited to visit their houses and see how they make treacle and jaggery. Our trained guide will give you a "botany lesson" about the various trees you will see along the way. You will observe the villagers bathing, washing their clothes, and drawing sand from the river. A large and deep pool of water upstream is available for competent swimmers. After the village walk, you will visit a tea factory and plantation to learn about the growing and harvesting of tea, and enjoy a good cup of tea. A complimentary 250g of quality black tea and a picnic lunch are included. The return trip will be by tuk-tuk or private jeep.

Day 7 – Departure 

After enjoying breakfast at the hotel, we will proceed to Bandaranayke International airport for our departure.
